For print use, generate at minimum 300×300px and always test scanning at the final printed size. QR codes smaller than 2cm × 2cm may not scan reliably.
Always keep the QR code dark on a light background (or vice versa). Avoid low-contrast color combinations — the scanner needs clear contrast to read it reliably.
Shorter URLs create simpler QR codes with fewer modules — easier to scan. Use a URL shortener (bit.ly, tinyurl) before encoding long web addresses.
